Blocked Websites

I find myself to be good with computers and rarely have a problem. But lately, I have found that I have been unable to visit either MySpace or Facebook in the campus computer labs.

That sucks.

For the amount of money I have spent to attend college, I would think that I would be able to visit the sites I want, when I want to without restrictions - but that is not the case.

In an attempt to find the solution to my problem, I took a look online at Squidoo and found a lens about free proxy servers.

There I found out that there are sites that allow you to bypass school filters and visit the sites that you want to, without restrictions.

After a bit of research, I found a free proxy server and a myspace proxy site that I was going to use to help visit the sites I wanted. It is really too bad that we have to do this - why can’t they quit treating us like children.
